Re: The New Joke Thread

Last time we were there, iirc, you could buy dried frogs in Penang. Not sure how to prepare them, though. To me, they were sort of pathetic looking. And that's no joke.

Quite possibly they are larger if you click on them
How big they appear initially in your browser depends on the settings in your users profile
In "Thread Display options" look for:

"Images taller than this height will be resized. Enter 0 to allow all heights, or leave the field empty to use the default value of 0." and the one below it for width.

Re: The New Joke Thread

In the year 2045 Elon is tired of importing ice-cream from Earth to the Martian colonies.

The next day he puts a group of dairy cows on a rocket to Mars.

But inter-planetary customs officers make him hold the rocket in orbit while they inspect the cows. Earth leaders don't want to lose the tax revenue from exporting ice-cream and are looking for a reason to repossess his cattle.

The tension between Earth and Mars escalates to full-on war. Ultimately Mars is successful in gaining its independence.

Many years later, historians return to the launch site. They had identified this event, when the farmers loaded cattle into the rocket, as the moment that lead to Martian independence. They erected a plaque on this location that read:

"Here once the embattled farmers stood,

And fired the herd shot round the world."

Child: Storms off “JIM MORRISON WAS OVERRATED!”
