Well, I really don't get your sense of humour.

The devastating bush fires late last year and early this, obliterated the black cocky population, to the point where they were thought to be extinct. Half the Island was burnt. People and animals are still suffering. Houses and farms are still yet to be rebuilt.
There is some hope for the Black Cockatoo, as breeding pairs have been seen amongst the burnt eucalypts.
I fail to see how your post is relevant to the joke thread.

I have never heard of anyone trying to eat a black cockatoo, though the galah is a local delicacy. The galah is also a parrot, though pink and grey in colour. They also make a raucous call.
To cook a galah, put the prepared (i.e. dead- roadkill is easily obtainable) galah in a pot of boiling water.
Continue to boil until the stone is soft.
Then, eat the stone.
