Your invite for next month is accepted btw , should I bring diving and fishing kit? what about guns, do you allow them in florida?

You do have a modern generation anchor don't you? wouldn't want to be seen hauling up some old CQR now would I. Have to think about the street cred on FB.

Pete
I do have a nice, new 65 lb Mantus and Florida is big on guns. I gave mine away so you'll have bring plenty with you or learn Kung ** for self defense against the locals.

Meanwhile FL just set a new one day record for Covid cases so I'm leaving the state but you're welcome to come on down.

Re: The New Joke Thread

Weird my app said this was the joke thread. Just in case it's right.

A Polok went to an eye doctor.
Doctor: Can you read the bottom line of the eye chart?
Polok: Read it, I know the guy!

This is funny, but true...

Bubba Wallace claimed someone left a noose in his garage. The FBI investigated and determined it is the thin rope used to pull down the garage door, which has been there for at least a year.

Jussie Smollett all over again.

"If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or being hated, don’t give way to hating,
And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise:"....

Then you probably have Vivaldi's The Four Seasons playing on continuous loop in your headset.

Re: The New Joke Thread

Regarding all the statues being pulled down/remove because people are offended by them:

I would rather people educate themselves and study the history of how/why the statues were erected in the first place, and if indicated put their effort into helping prevent the same social/historical conditions TODAY rather than just "being offended" and desiring to remove those same statues . . . .

Which is better? Learning from history, or just being "offended" by it?
