Speaking of funny names, a good friend of mine told me his father-in-law (now deceased) was featured on the David Letterman show for the top 10 funniest CA names. His name was Harry Dong. The laugh is on us, however, since he founded an investment firm and left his wife over $300M quite a few yrs ago. I'm sure it's grown quite a bit since then. His wife gave it all to their only daughter and her husband, so they both retired at 50 and keep a 60' motor yacht in Newport beach just for cruising out to Catalina.

Didn't get the joke at all until I watched that lame video clip.


It relies on the merkin accent where Harry is pronounced "hairy".
