    Hello John,

As you see, I have deleted the little exchange of political opinion between you and JAFO in the "ageism" thread.

So however great the provocation, please don't respond to political comments. You know that they are forbidden by our rules. Man to man, John, you can't NOT know that even moderators can have strong political opinions. Nor can you be unaware that we moderators somehow manage to keep them out of this forum. So, please, John - do you likewise!

John In a post you asked about trailerable ocean going yachts. I can't find that post now but did you read this thread?
    Google "cruisersforum trailerable-seaworthy-boats"
    Google "11-pocket-cruisers-fit-budget"

John, it would be great if you posted some info/background about yourself so people can have an idea where you get your extensive knowledge from. What boats have you owned? What kind of sailing/boating have you done? Is your professional background conducive to what you post? etc... Your posts would carry a lot more weight if people could find out this basic info.

John, if it hasn't been posted - and since you have time - pick up a copy of Kawabunga's South Seas Adventure by Charles S. Dewell. He bought a Flicka 20 ( which I think is a great choice ) and sailed it in a loop around the Pacific. Lots of good info and a great read too.

Quote ...The ACR staying open while no charge is present is not usually a problem in practice during normal cruising cycling.

When in storage you should be isolating manually.

There are designs where this is done on purpose, LVD adjusted downward as far as possible, long as enough charge is always remaining in the "Starter segment" for reliable cranking.... Quote

Again you are not reading the posts properly!!!!

Please refrain from posting anything that comes into your head.

I have had to report this to the moderator.

It would be great if you could post some profile details - like boat and years sailing - to help support your considerable knowledge base.
