Status bar installed and immediately displayed my string from .conf
Watchdog and VDR installed all looks good but yet to test.
At least no problems with installation.

Found errors
1. Panning does not work when creating a route in touch screen mode.
2. styles are not applied to routes, tracks.
3. no scaling is applied to the moon phases in the dashboard; checkboxes on/off alarms in the watchdog
4. Periodic CPN crash when switching from a group of charts with one mbtiles to an ENC S-57 group, it appears on nvidia
5. part of the ENC depth marks disappears when panning, it appears on nvidia.
Found bugs are fixed on github

I paid for and downloaded charts in 2020. I didn't get allot of use from them.
To be honest, they don't currently work. So I've paid for and am trying again today.
I'm using a Samsung tablet.
I don't recognise the plugin instructions, it's frustrating the hell out of me.
In plain English..
Do I need to download the latest Opencpn version inorder to download my Charts?
If so, which download do I need to select to run on my Samsung tablet?

OCPN for Android is now version 5.8.3. Would be updated automatically, but please check.
o-charts for Androids is version. 1.0.44.0. Please check Options->Plugins.

Both on my android Tablet and my W11 device, Panning while creating a route can be done with two fingers.

Using OPENCPN 5.8.4 on Windows 10, on the properties of a created route, it is no longer possible to customize the line with regard to characteristics such as: dot, dash, long dash, short dash, dot dash, solid, because the Line remains solid, even choosing another option.
The other personalizations are working, such as width, color, etc., but the form of display of the route line, does not accept changes today.

for unknown reasons, CPN is loaded with OpenGL disabled, in the settings, the checkbox for enabling OGL is not active.
I edit the configuration file DisableOpenGL=0
It's been a few times already
Why does this appear?

OpenGL is disabled completely if the OpenGL drivers are found to be faulty or non-existing when OpenCPN starts.


Please check for a GL driver update.

the fact of the matter is that with the video drivers everything is in order, they are updated and installed

Go to:- opencpn.ini
change OpenGL=0 to OpenGL=1
change Disable OpenGL=1 to =0

This is probably some kind of bug if it works on a system with updated video drivers running

Bruce..
The device I use is a dated Garmin 120 connected as serial by e.g. COM3.
For COM3 I set [X] "Use Garmin GRMN (Host) for upload".
Remember to allow output on that port.

When I want to transfer I set the Garmin device to "GRMN/GRMN interface mode"
Right click on a WP or a route and select "Send to GPS (serial COM3)" - If not the correct port select "Send to new GPS" to change.
Look at the Garmin device for response. If OK switch the device back to NMEA mode.

Are there any plans to fix the problem with nvidia graphics cards?
the following problems appear
1. Part of the depth marks is not displayed when panning. there is a report and video on github
2. CPN crash on ENC. especially on switching from mbtiles (2) to ENC (1) on the keyboard.
