Fun with scammer

I have a boat for sale in a few places including here

I've gotten a scammer emailing me. Probably the "I paid too much cash the check and send the difference" scam.

Its for a 38' sailboat and he's telling me his buddy will pick it up for *shipping* when I cash the check.

I'm trying to have some fun with him

get him to give YOU his account info

have him send you the check. Then say you lost it. Have them send you another check. Basically just waste all of his time. That way he can’t do it to other people

What I like to do when i get in this situation is that I try to act as dumb as I can and then ask about silly unrelated details and what to do in crazy scenarios. Their reaction is worth it 100% of the time spent haha
