My system is set in English_US. The routes can be named or not, that changes nothing.
The waypoints are auto-named

I agree that at the end we should have only one route composed by the two original ones.

Re: OpenCPN Version 5.8.4 Released

Hi
Just completed a clean install of Ubuntu 22.04.2 on new hard drive.

Using PPA I installed O 5.8.4

Update master file in plugins section.

I don't see Draw and GPS Odometer, maybe others missing.

What do I need to do to see at least these 2 plugins please?
Thanks Dave

Dave
Thanks, as per usual your service is second to none.
Draw working now.
However it did crash O when trying to load large persistent layers covering all of Queensland coast.
I reduced the number of files and working smoothly now.

Re: OpenCPN Version 5.8.4 Released

Dave, we have some problem with ubuntu jammy, none of the TP 1.0.238 plugins built seem to be available in PIM. Don't know if it is metadata/build problem or a PIM filtering problem. See Issue in OpenCPN please.

NOTICE RPI JAMMY USERS

Bdbcat has merged a new version into the Plugins Catalog.

For RPI Jammy, can you please update PIM master catalog and install and update AISradar and activate it and give it a try? Please let us know if this new version of Jammy works for you!

Anyone having trouble uploading routes to Garmin GPS using Garmin mode. Was working great before. Now get error that Garmin GPS is not connected.
I do know there is a connection to the serial port as OpenCPN gets GPS data when GPS is set to NMEA output. I then change the GPS to Garmin mode put cannot upload routes.

Should I rollback to 5.8.2 to check if this is a 5.8.4 problem? Or has anyone else seen this?
Cheers,
Bruce

Any others have this problem? I haven't rolled back (and can't now as I am away from the boat).

Thanks,
Bruce

Re: OpenCPN Version 5.8.4 Released

I have tested the Garmin mode to transfer waypoints to a dated Garmin navigator without problem. It depends on that the device is set to GRMN/GRMN interface mode.

OK, Hakan. Thanks. I'll try with an 5.8.2 when I can. It used to work so not sure what the problem is.

Re: OpenCPN Version 5.8.4 Released

Testing Needed!

Watchdog 2.4.60.0 in Master Catalog, has been merged by Dave into PIM and is available.
Depth is fixed, Pypilot Alarms and Rudder Alarms are back in the plugin.
Please test every aspect of this plugin and and advise here of which alarms work and which don't (we need to know both confirmations and negatives)!!! ..along with Opencpn version and OS!!

We also need the same testing for Tesplugin 1.0.253.0, In particular which OS it works on and which OS it does not.

Thanks. Also a big thanks to Dave R. for his help getting this working!
