Re: Boats Less Than $30K Recent Noteworthy Finds
This Nimble Arctic 25 has been on the Kijiji classified site for a few weeks. It looks pretty nice. $25K Canadian (<$20K US).
These little boats really turn heads!
https://www.kijiji.ca/v-voilier/sagu...use/1556166868
It's up the Saguenay, fantastic cruising country for whale and beluga watching, but a long way from most sailors. However it has a trailer...

Re: Boats Less Than $30K Recent Noteworthy Finds
Wow. That is probably one of the most modified production boats of its kind I've ever seen. I have owned a 1972 C27 with the same dinette interior and I really like alot of his mods. The outside is just insane. The whole transom area just blows me away. Wow. And don't forget to notice all the chainplates now bolted to the outside of the hull.
Also, remember Patrick Childress sailed one of these around the world in '79. He took the rear lower shrouds to outside chainplates, and did a few other things like enlarging the cockpit drains. This boat is another level above that, imho. Somebody is going to go places in this I hope.

He's renewed the ad, so you might want to reach out to him again. Sometimes you just need to keep bugging these people.

Re: Boats Less Than $30K Recent Noteworthy Finds
I've searched and can't find any solid info on this boat. It looks interesting at $6000.

40' Huges Columbia - Project Boat - $20,000 (st. pete beach)
Doesn't really say what work needs to be done and none of the pictures show any obvious projects that I'm seeing.

Re: Boats Less Than $30K Recent Noteworthy Finds
1969 Allied Sea Breeze 34'6" Sailboat - Florida
Currently at $19.99. These no-reserve auctions sometimes go for less than the document handling fee of $300. Something to watch, just don't bid too early. You'll end up driving the price higher.
