OK, pretty sure I posted this same boat six months ago when it was $29,900. That ad got pulled pretty quick, and now it is readvertised for $22,500. That is one heck of a good deal on a Tayana 37 if it is in the condition claimed and the photos are indeed reflectictive of it's current condition! Engine has 108 total hours? These boats are very popular for "serious" offshore cruising and circumnavigating.

No affiliation, but the kind of boat that strengthens my opinion that the best values are among boats that were prepared and out cruising already!

1977 Magellan 36 for $10k:

Where have all the posters gone in this thread? There are heaps of cruising boats available for less than $30K, some of them much less. Here's one, built for comfort not for speed, that should appeal to the old-school crowd:

Seems like it might be able to take you across oceans with moderate additional investment?

It has been a while.

I can bump my 37 foot sloop, Eos. https://www.popsells.com/cruising-sa...egon-r3-389664 .

It mostly needs a mainsail which I found on Precision Sails for $1600. That, and a holding tank for the head. See's a pretty cool PNW boat.

Pitty I can't keep both of my boats.

LOL. As it happens, I have copious quantities of KatapultCoin laying around. I suspect you have some excess HoodsailDollars you could utilize?

Here seems to be a good buy .
https://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/b...787315660.html
1969 Mariner ketch sailboat. Hull #42 of 89. Built in Japan. It's a real classic.
This boat is capable of taking you anywhere you want to go.
It's a comfortable live aboard with lots of storage for long trips to Alaska, the islands, or the South Pacific.
