Re: Boats Less Than $30K Recent Noteworthy Finds
I tried to search the thread to make sure this hadn't been posted. BTW: this is difficult, if not impossible to do (suggestions?).
I found this Shannon for $12,500 in Easton, MD:

Is there a link to the listing somewhere that I am not seeing? The one above the pic is just for that.

Not Shannons though. They were built to go offshore. Definitely not your average 28' boat.

Please do more research before posting. Shannon boats were built in very limited numbers.

40' steel sailboat - $5,000 (parkland) Near Seattle
Another potential good deal, worth checking out. Seems like today is a good day for deals on Craigslist.

Looks promising. If I had the time to go down to Florida I would check this one out for sure!

Re: Boats Less Than $30K Recent Noteworthy Finds
This just popped up on my FB feed. All I know is here.
It is an Outborn 39/40 stuck in Trinidad.
$25,0000
OR anyone in Trinidad who can sail her to Grenada so they can take possession.
Looks to be an interesting boat, Dutch build. I found an add for a sister ship with some nice photos.
Price is very good if the boat is in any kind of shape.

Nah, they been over priced for years (the plain ones). This one seem complete, but no fancy wood or carvings. It's just a standard early 1980s sailboat.
