I talked to the guy, he says everything works. Hard to trust at that price point.

My guess is the rigging is old and sticker shock sent it to the chopping block.

I replaced all the rigging on my 33’er myself. Used StayLoc. It was tedious but not that bad or expensive or difficult. I just found it hard to get the wires exactly the same as the old wires. Lay them out and tape them together works.

Perkins may mean rebuild or repower. But if you go back like for like then it is less onerous.

Looks like a good start. Interior is forever 1977, engine is now very outdated and the electrics installed in the 90s are now at least as old as the originals which presumably needed replacing back then. Still pretty tempting for sub-5K USD though.

Both pluses but that Atomic bomb kills it for me.

Not many people would take on rig replacement. I would have done the rig myself as well.

Found that it was recently sold on another site.

Checked an old Popyachts listing and it looks like severe water damage, mast step delam. Kind of shysty if you ask me!

Yeah, figured that... still, if you are a DIY kind of person, not a bad project boat!

46ft Romack Marine Cutter sale/trade - $10,000 (Coronado Ca Mooring)

This one has been for sale for a while. Looks like a medium sized project considering the size. It's kind of what I'm looking for, but my feeling is that the boat is basically fugly and I'm not enamored with the layout. Might be someone's ideal project tho. Figured I'd put it up and let people make their own judgements.

This has been reposted with new pictures and it looks like the person might be looking for more than the $12K now.

Now I'm seeing it listed for $9000. This one's all over the board. If you're into OutIslands, I'd get right onto this.
