There is a Morgan Out Island 33 for sale on Craigslist Tampa, The boat is in very decent condition, listed under Morgan 33...I believe the seller is asking $8,000. Newer Kubota diesel. The boat is in St Pete FL. in the water..many pictures in the ad...

15k for an Alpa 12.70. That's a 42 S&S. In Italy. Pretty amazing deal for someone who wants a viable project.

Re: Boats Less Than $30K Recent Noteworthy Finds
Hm, this baby looks nice. Pretty cheap (8.000€) for a 31', though they could have cleaned a bit inside. It obviously belonged to a fisherman. I was considering posting in 'worst for sale pictures'. But other than that, seems to be a good ship. It has Spanish seaworthiness certificate valid 'til 2020. And it's just 60 miles from where I live... Really tempting, though I wouldn't cross the Atlantic.

Re: Boats Less Than $30K Recent Noteworthy Finds
This thread was accepted as a challenge!!!
We bought a Yankee 38 in the water with an excellent slip in fresh water in the Seattle area for $5000.
The engine was replaced 50 hours ago but the boat was unused for 5 years.
It requires tons of cleanup, paint and refurbishing but the hull and mast are sound.
Our estimate is that it will take $20,000 more to finish the project with new sails and electronics😃.
We are under $30k but expect 10 years of fun

Sad to see her so obviously neglected for so long... definitely has the fat tub IOR shape of the 70s I fondly remember admiring from afar!
