last time I was in goa I was a bit put off eating bacon when I saw how they fed them.

the toilets had a common wall with the pig sty,a hole in the wall below the toilet allowed the pigs direct access to what came out of the tourists bottoms!

though indian cattle must be the least stressed domestic beef raised in the world

Actually, I'm exxcited. Worth the wait for this bit of newz. Sawz adn everything.

Love that cabinet work. Looks almost Bene.

Happy for Atoll, knowing no windz or Cornishly waves will stop his progress. Atoll is the Duek of Wellington IMHO.
finished putting in the oven as well.

and here is a photo of the old outdrive and the bit it attaches to...ie the engine.
it allows you to have the benefits of being able to steer the boat,as well as lift it out the water when not in use, like an outboard engine, but with a conventional marine diesel driving it,so economical and powerful.

the whole of the west coast as well!

there has been a tremendous amount of development of the river entrances with the building of trailing walls and dredged marked channels all up that coast, you can hardly go 20 miles now without somewhere to duck into a lagoon and find a safe anchorage.

there is also a big push from local and national government to open up india to sailing and yachting

On first glance I mistook the oven for a high end stereo...black boxes below power units. Classy. The kit is all classssssy.

diesel I/O or diesel outboards. Very progressive. Can you totally beach out this Prout?

yes, they are designed to be beached with 2 long keels and sacrificial hardwood shoes on the bottom, and draw a whopping 2ft7inches,so you can probably sail over outer reefs at high water where there is a big enough tidal range in the right conditions, where there is no pass to get into a lagoon.

Re: Modernizing a Prout Elite 37ft

I got the other side finished on the weekend!

very cold at the moment,so started making up all the mouldings for the doors and lockers in the workshop which is nice and warm with the wood burner going.

I made up a mould to laminate a 180 degree bend (top of door in photo) for the entrance door trim today,it was all going great till the glued up sapele wood laminate strips snapped in half in the moulder so gave up in disgust

will have to make them thinner next time
