African Cats was founded in 2001 and builds the Fastcat line of Sailing catamarans and the Powercat line of catamaran trawlers. African Cats has pioneered the Green Motion retractable propulsion system which is claimed to make their sailing cats 40% lighter and faster than most other production catamarans.
