Lots of sailing during the summer.
Trimmed off the cavitation plate on the sillette drive leg to make it more streamlined when lifted, it was creating quite a bit of drag,as it was the longest version of the leg that sillette made,much better now

I also molded up a small reinforcing sugar scoop to support the drive leg when in the lowered and under power position,this would also make it easy to jury rig a strop if the reverse lock or leg steering failed.

Other than that i have constructed a small veg and herb garden with poly tunnels behind my workshop that seems to take up most of my time when not fixing the 2 other boats

This thread inspired me to buy a basket case Snowgoose 35 and I've been sailing this summer, although its not all finished. And having ongoing issues with the drive leg ! Join the FB Prout Catamaran Owners Forum, loads of extremely knowledgeable and generous minds there. Alex was kind enough to show me round his Elite, it is unbelievably well thought out and beautifully finished, (especially when you see the bare hulls he started with) - very jealous. And I can't thank him enough for his generosity, with his time and experience. Top Man! Glad you got out over the summer
