Re: Amsteel for lazy jacks?

Re: Good boatyard in the Gibraltar area

Try Puerto Alcaidesa Marina just barely over the border in Spain. It's literally walking distance to the border and a really nice marina. WAY less expensive.

Definitely contact Julia Yu, sales@skypowerintl.com

She is immensely helpful and is the best method for direct sales. I have recently purchased 8 1000AH Cells and am extremely satisfied.

Re: Jedi Basic 12/24V DC electrical system

How did you handle the switching relays for the windlass ? Do they needed to be changed for 24v? Or will they handle the change as-is?

Yeah my wife really likes the looks of that one. I've never really heard of them. I would definitely prefer to spend a little more and get something that will just work!

Re: Pepwave / Peplink 5G cellular router

5G is a marketing label and does really mean just one frequency or capability. It really refers to the new generation (5th) of how the data is dealt with within the packets and how it's transmitted...

Re: Pepwave / Peplink 5G cellular router

I would be curious to know what antenna would be best suited for this router, and if it would be better to keep it on the cabin with a shorter cable or try to get some height and put it on the...

Re: Victron Dealer in S.E. US ?

Are you looking for a local dealer to help with the installation or just a source to order the parts?

I have used Invertersupply.com and been very happy with the prices and customer service.

Re: What is the magic beam for a cat

Not sure about older saildrives, but i have scoured the manual for my sd60's and there is no mention of a service interval of 100 hours for the seals. Oil change interval for the saildrive is listed...

Re: Advice for purchasing used Lagoon

The biggest problem with the 1370 is that its really closer to a $Million Dollar yacht and who knows what the price will be in 5 years, I can't imagine waiting that long if I wanted a new Cat.

Re: Inverters 24V or 48V
