You know, I’m not sure you actually understand the meaning of the word useless.

It’s ok though, the rest of us have a pretty good idea.

Nah, I wish I was that smart. It was a senator, you'll find it Hansard.

Pretty clear case of the patients being way more intelligent than the doctor.

Re: The Reality of Living in Australia and Covid

A reason why Vic's numbers may be higher than those in NSW?
Scroll down to 11.29
https://www.theage.com.au/national/a...25-p59c96.html
'“So I think complacency, lethargy, and having more cases when you started that NSW did are affecting what you are experiencing.” Professor Booy said the state’s health authorities needed to look carefully at transmission to identify the most concerning areas of growing infection. “Focused, intentional improvements could make a real difference,” he said.

“I think Victoria also suffered from complacency, and even more than complacency - lethargy. The lockdowns got so long and so many people lost the energy to be quite as careful as they had been.”

I was in the local chemist an hour ago - along with hospitals and doctors' waiting rooms the place you are most likely to meet sick people - three people work there - two were unmasked the third was a mouth breather. Not sure if that was lethargy or complacency.

And in other news today

Interesting ➥ https://www.theage.com.au/national/v...25-p59bxt.html

I think that 'The Age' might well learn the use of the word 'alleged'.

OK, I'm curious - what bits of the article do you think should only be alleged?

AFAIK, the said aged care home is closing, does have massive debts, was founded by two brothers who were bankrupt and who have pleaded guilty to animal cruelty charges 1+ million chickens.

A case here, a case there

or if you prefer

Covid to the left of us,
Covid to the right.
