Someone needs to measure the inside line diameter because it's only .078 of an inch for most injection lines. Breakline have a way larger inside measurement. You have to buy the right size line...

Hey mark if you pull the pump and keep the shims the same you can put the pump back and still be in time the position of the barrel sets the amount of fuel per cylinder the pin on number one cylinder...

If you look at your exploded view the fuel adjuster has the pin but number one cyl only uses a pin pressed into the housing

Doesn't mean you broke the pin most of the time it just pushes back out of the bore. Some pumps dont have any pins to hold the barrel the must be set with test stand at injection shop you can thank...
