I have a small but noticeable leak on the top of my fuel injector pump
. It appears to clearly be coming from the junction where the top of the fuel
outlet (going to cylinder 3; the most inconvenient one of course) meets the top of the injector pump
assembly; not at the compression
fitting where the fuel line attaches. I have been unable to get a wrench on this to try to tighten it up thinking it may have just wiggled loose a bit given its location.
Any ideas what may be causing this leak? Is it likely a leaking O-ring depicted in the attached image as 13? Can this be replaced easily or once I take "12" out are springs going to explode out and timing get messed up?
Any other tips or suggestions?
Thanks so much!
