Yanmar 3gm fuel injection pump leak

Hello,
I have a small but noticeable leak on the top of my fuel injector pump. It appears to clearly be coming from the junction where the top of the fuel outlet (going to cylinder 3; the most inconvenient one of course) meets the top of the injector pump assembly; not at the compression fitting where the fuel line attaches. I have been unable to get a wrench on this to try to tighten it up thinking it may have just wiggled loose a bit given its location.

Any ideas what may be causing this leak? Is it likely a leaking O-ring depicted in the attached image as 13? Can this be replaced easily or once I take "12" out are springs going to explode out and timing get messed up?

Any other tips or suggestions?

Thanks so much!

More likely the copper gasket, item 6 or 10. My eyes aren't what they once were. Best left to a diesel shop to repair.

I haven't had to open the pump up on our 3HM's yet, but I have had the injectors apart and wanted to mention that what Yanmar refers to as an "o ring" in some drawings is actually a broad flat copper washer.

You do know you can anneal the copper washers with a propane torch and re-use them, right?

Re: Yanmar 3gm fuel injection pump leak

Great thoughts, thank you! Any other considerations? Can the seals you mentioned be replaced without pulling the whole injector pump assembly? If that top oring is actually a copper washer I'd have more confidence it will stop the leak for sure. I've read about reanealing the copper seals, sounds like a great backup!

Anyone actually worked on one of these units?
