Re: Weed Smokers on Your Boat

For my part I think they should legalize pot on boats for recreational use and criminalize rattling halyards.

I am seriously not woke,,,call it dead straight every time....but thats really a poor attitude. Your decision is based purely on her appearance....don't deny it...you stated it.

Weed "stench" doesn't really linger the way tobacco smoke does. Make her smoke outside, set her up with an ash tray and have a good time.

This statement is just so closed minded it annoys me greatly.
Just because it’s not prescribed by Doctors, paid off by
Big Pharma, DOES NOT MEAN IT HAS NO LEGITIMATE MEDICAL USE.
Effective treatment for Glaucoma for example , soldiers with PTSD,
Depression ( for some much better than prosaic)
Pain Management ( better that opioids)
Get off your high horse and get a life
FOR SURE, If Merck, Pfizer, J&J, had a patent on it
It would be prescribed for everything
That’s not even figuring in the legal/incarceration/gov’t industrial
complex that Greatly Profits from the present situation
Cheers

You get a written ingredient list with soda, then its your choice.
I'm shocked that some people don't see the difference.
If anyone did that to my daughter. I'd have them charged.

Could be they just don't have the time for alcohol. You basically give up the rest of your day with alcohol. You'll be sober tomorrow, well, except for the all day hangover. The weed will wear off in a few hours and away you go again. At least that's what I've been told. Attention spans have had to shorten in this day and age of information overload. Less time is available.

Is it the chance of being busted, or is it the perceived lack of self control using drugs indicates that makes you apprehensive? If she was a cigarette smoker how would that affect your decision?

My advice; have her aboard if you like her, warts and all, and let her have her escape outside. That's what I usually do with pretty junkies packing mental health issues.

Also, my advice should never be taken.

You are showing your total lack of knowledge on this subject and your age.

Medical marijuana has been proven to reduce seizures.

It can also level out those that are bipolar......and can help them stay in the zone where their brain can function at the high level they are capable of which is several steps above your average person.

It's not like cigarettes at all.

When I was young I was basically told to "drink all the alcohol you want but stay away from that marijuana" which of course turned out to be totally wrong

They were saying it's fine to be an alcoholic but don't do marijuana ......... since those in business haven't yet found out how to make money on it

Re: Weed Smokers on Your Boat

I have a dry boat
I have a small quantity of Cannabis
I have glaucoma from eye trauma as a child
I have PTSD AS A first responder to the World Trade Center along with other ailments
I micro dose, it’s in my boat in a tightly sealed masonry jar
I have been boarded without event.
I have been commended on my attention to detail at following all USGS protocol
It’s just not that big a deal, no one cares.

I don’t mind the misconceptions stated here in some posts it just points to the amount of mis-information around the topic.

What most do not understand is that the origins of the legality are based on racism. I am not calling anyone a racist, nevertheless it is fact, look it up.

No one can defend the law of recreational possession without appearing like a racist, which is why it is becoming legal everywhere.
The feds know this and they are scared for the roll they have played.

Have your fun, let her have hers. Nobody is coming to get you or her.

If all goes well your week with the young woman will provide you with lifetime of good memories and the concern over a rogue seed or two will disappear with a good vacuuming.

Go to it mate and let us know how it turns out.

Re: Weed Smokers on Your Boat

Thank you, Chotu, for a great thread. It went about the way I expected. Be discrete. Don't worry about a seed. Hydrate. Choose the best delivery places in town beforehand so you aren't wasting time trying to decide who to order in from. Protection, sun and otherwise. Enjoy.

(Actually it does, as well as caffeine and alcohol, and just like cannabis it’s about the dose)

Re: Weed Smokers on Your Boat

FYI
Putting drugs of any kind into peoples food without their knowledge is criminal.
See the story below.

April 21, 2022 LONGWOOD, Fla. – A bride was arrested after a two-month investigation that determined she had schemed with her caterer to put cannabis in her guests’ food.
Danya Shea Glenny, 42, of Longwood, Fla., was arrested on Monday, April 18, where she is facing felony charges from an incident that happened at her wedding on Feb. 19.
