Kd9truck....We're at Puerto Del Rey marina, Fajardo, Puerto Rico. As I said, the marina is huge, very well equipped, the operators really know what they're doing, chain-link fence and 7/24 security guards, the most modern array of travel-lifts (they have 4 of them) plus assorted ground handling self-propelled boat movers, etc, etc, etc. A totally world-class marina. ...BUT, after sailing Asia for 15 years, then the Medd for 4, and visiting/checking all the other marinas/boat yards here in the NE Caribb...it ain't cheap! But, after riding out 2 hurricanes(Cat 5s) and several other major storms, a broken windex as the only damage suffered is pretty amazing. So, for the time being, we still use it, and keep coming back each season.
Thank you for your comment, and good luck with the sale. I agree that the preparation is key. I have seen that is true for most things. Also, a lot of people don't understand what CopperCoat is supposed to do. Yes, it is an anti-fouling paint but equally or more important is that it lasts a long time. One still needs to clean the bottom from time to time. Thanks again and fair winds!
