Anyone in the PNW?
This looks like a great deal, except it's a ketch (no offense to ketch lovers):

Wow hell of a buy if the structure is good. Needs tons of interior work from water damage. But hey theres several smaller cats on yw for more than twice the $$$ with the same damage its just that its cvered up and the owners dont believe it. believe me we have seen them. Too bad shes a touch too wide for us. That and we just signed for a P39!

Wow, and I just left the area... At 20k, I don't see how you could go wrong - finding a slip for it will be your biggest problem from the looks of it.

I can learn to love a ketch - I don't have any special love for sloop rigging.

The Neel is a safer and faster machine to that of the Catana in all directions in my book and what i have heard from the agents in NZ are the same price. Only 5 Neels have been built.... They are the break through.
I've seen the underbody and they don't have a real keel either, just a bit of a skeg on the main hull. The reviews I've read said they got enough resistance from the hulls but didn't post any numbers. From my sailing I'd wonder about strong winds when the whole top layer of water is moving with the wind. I like their concept, a cabin like a cat without the windage.

I'm up here and have seen this boat. It is a well kept beauty, well outfitted. I've been telling people to take a look. A lot of boat for the money, too bad about the circumstances of the sale.

Re: Cheap Multis and Projects

This big cat was dropped in price so I thought it deserves a repost. Only $15,000 for a 56' cat. Wonder what she looks like now? Anybody in SF?

well you can guess what it looks like...just that one picture shows it has almost no bridgedeck clearance. Probably made of wood that is toast.

I noticed that other big cat in sf for $60k is now sale pending, that looked like a great deal.

Yep. That CSK 50 was in pretty good shape for an old gal.
You're kinda close to the cheap one why don't you take a look?
