Re: Cheap Multis and Projects

This one is not a cruiser but it is a Maine Cat 22 which is one of my favorite builders. It is a no reserve auction and the bidding is at $5.50.

Re: Cheap Multis and Projects

We just looked at this Woods designed 29' Jupiter named Seabean in SW Florida. The boat splashed in 12/14 so is new. She appears to be very well built and her owner/builder is an experienced boatbuilder. Great boat but wouldn't fit my 6'4" frame!

So then it isn't cheap or a project.

At less than 40k for a new 29' cat it is cheap, but one thing your right at is it isn't a project.

I do apologize, that webpage is so bad I thought it was $195,000,
at $40k it is a good price, I probably wouldn't have posted the comment,
but still would not call it cheap.

Re: Cheap Multis and Projects

From Craig's list Hawaii

1965 offshore 40' Choi Lee - $8000 (Kilauea)

length overall (LOA): 40
propulsion type: sail

1965 offshore 40' Choi Lee.

The boat has been in dry dock since 1992 after being damaged in Hurricane Iniki. It needs a new mast and extensive finishing work. The hull is in good condition.

Perkins diesel engine.

$8,000 or best offer.

Re: Cheap Multis and Projects

One here on Gold Coast, Queensland, looks like an old Piver, maybe..?

$20K seems on the money for a boat if this age, but appears to be in good nick, so might be a bargain.

That's a pretty nice looking Piver Nimble. Should be a good find for somebody.
