More fun (or at least a better story) if she doesn't! The thread is project boats, it's part of the fun

Okay. If someone here buys her, I'm in for a trip north of 30kts. Just someone please get the ensuing wipeout, & breakup, on film. It'll look like the opening scene from the $6,000,000 Man.
The epic launch off of a wave, & the gymnastic tumble & disintegration on landing. Oh, wait, let me make sure my will's up to date first
But yeah, I can add this to my Bucket List. Well, only if the boat's named after some trashy, well known (living) porn star. Good PR = $ for physical therapy & rehab. Nathalie Boet. Anyone, anyone: Nathalie Boet?

Re: Cheap Multis and Projects
the kelsall honestly peaked my interest. it must be one of the first foam sandwich tris ever built and I have to say its a "beautiful" boat. someone with more time than I needs to fix her up & take her to the golden oldies.
if anyone has checked on her in person and willing to share details, please send a pm.
I also have a bunch more photos the sellers friend sent me.. if anyone would like those please send pm. they revealed a lot of work needed on how the nets are attached to hulls, and some minor rot in a cabin or bulkhead and lots of other projects but nothing obviously catastrophic.

Re: Cheap Multis and Projects
If I had to guess (and I'd probably be wrong), a re-working of a CSK design. It has a certain Sailcraft height and narrowness of beam, but the hulls aren't right for that.

I somehow ended up with two copies of his book, if I remember, I'll check when I get home. (Have to go to a "boat-warming party" for some friends who are relaunching their Formosa after a multi-year total refit, so there's a very good chance I might not remember.)
