I'm just going to use the electric drive for in and outof harbors, marinas, or tight situations if they pop up. Other then that the sails will be out catching wind.
It seems the people with the 500,000 dollar or higher priced stink pots cannot appreciate the skill that is used and needed when sailing into my marina. Who would have guessed that.
Anyway I still can't believe how big their eyes got the first time I did it. Looked like a bunch of owls.

How do you guys get your pendants? Do you buy at the port or get a kit from the store before you leave?

Are you referring to courtesy flags?

Thread drift alert...

I have a 16 y/o - I recently watched a documentary on Neflix called "Teenage" - if you have teens or ever were a teen you should have a look.

It basically comments on every generation of teen since 1900. Guess what? We are all the same. This generation is no different than us.

I just wish I knew then what I know now. I woulda got a boat at 16 and left over the horizon... With that start living on $500 a month is a no brainer.

(see how I cleverly got back on topic - LOL)

Actually, after raising kids, putting them through college, weddings, giving them a nest egg to start their new lives, all I have left now is to live on a boat for $500 dollars a month.
