ver. 4.0 documentation
Version 4.0 documentation is in the *.xz format that can not be open.
Tried suggested Reg Cure Pro and this changed many setting on my computer without my approval, so I quit. In the end for anyone using WiFi in the Marina this documentation is not available.

Re: ver. 4.0 documentation
What OS you are on?
The documentation comes bundled with the install. Just use the "?" from the toolbar.
Or being online at OpenCPN User Manual | Official OpenCPN Homepage

Re: ver. 4.0 documentation
Sean,
don't understand this: the doc is installed with 4.0 and accessible directly with " ?"
So why to unpack something...

I think you can believe me as I created that archive - it's content is exactly the same as the documentation included in your OpenCPN installation.
If your download is not corrupted, either WinRAR or 7-Zip should decompress it without any problem.

Re: ver. 4.0 documentation
Pavel, Thanks a lot, you have helped me many times in past. It works with 7-Zip by converting to WINRAR. That's all.

Re: ver. 4.0 documentation
Uhm, I just told my mac to print/save as pdf and it is off line on my computer. Now I just have to get enough paper to print it. It seems to be fairly well written. The only problem I have had is I tried to donate and keep getting a paypal error.

Re: ver. 4.0 documentation
Does anyone know if new Open CPN 4.2 works with BSB4 ver 1.2. I used to use ver. 4.1.1301 and that driver didn't work and had to revert to OCPN version 4.0

The current version of the BSB4 plugin available for download at PlugIns for OpenCPN 4.2 | Official OpenCPN Homepage is 1.4 and it should work without any problems with the current OpenCPN 4.2 release. If it does not, we need to know more about what your exact problem is.
