Catalina 34 ver 36 ft
Help, looking for people's comments on buying a 34 catalina ver 36 ft. We race here in San Diego, where the winds are light 5-12 knots most of the time. My current boat is a Morgan 27 with a phrf of 171 and were winning many races. So I'm looking to upgrade to a larger boat, inboard motor, with a phrf that is faster then what we have. It looks to me a 34 is faster then the 36? Its just a few inches shorter, and 1500 lbs less weight. I do some cruising as well. Thanks Mark
