Re: Sat2Chart

PH, this is screen shot of sat2chart "sasplanet" location. I've tried just sasplanet, but the program won't let me do that, it requires the add. I've tried dl new sasplanet but you were right about the settings...i was lost and scratched that plan.

Re: Sat2Chart

overboard,

Please terminate and then restart Sat2Chart and SasPlanet then reproduce this problem then send me an email (or two) and attach the following two files:

Sat2Chart.log which you will find in the directory where Sat2Chart is installed which is probably C:\Sat2Chart\Sat2Chart.V10.0.0.0

and the SasPlanet.ini file which you will find in the directory where SasPlanet is installed.

My email is the Help press F1 (or Fn+F1)

Re: Sat2Chart

Ok then use Notepad to open Sat2Chart.rex my email is at the top.
Do not modify that file. That file should be in the C:\Sat2Chart\Sat2Chart.V10.0.0.0 directory

Re: Sat2Chart

overboard,

I found it in my Spam folder and after examining your log, it found the sasplanet.ini file so there is one.

I notice you have the Sat2Chart/SasPlanet option "Select multiple zooms for single mbtiles chart" checked. Uncheck and see if you can create a chart.

Re: Sat2Chart

You are not showing me the file edited with Notepad. Right click on the Sat2Chart.rex and the select "Open With" then select Notepad.

Unchecked multiple zooms, same error.

ID:	215887 this is from yesterday, but other than uncheck multiple zooms, and try to generate a chart, nothing has changed. Is there anywhere else I should look for the .ini?

Re: Sat2Chart

Sat2Chart.V10.0.2.0 is now available.

- New SasPlanet option: Mbtiles Creation:
determines which program will create the mbtiles charts. Either SasPlanet or Sat2Chart (which is the default).

- Multi-Map support for Kaps

- Fixed Nokia hot key "H" to invoke the "Here.com Hybrid" and added hotkey "I" for "Here.com Sat". You may have to add the these hotkeys or get a fresh copy of my SasPlanet.

- New Pause checkbox to terminate long processing. Checking it is the same as moving the cursor to the bottom of the screen.

- Created new Tutorial to explain all the SasPlanet options.

-- See the Change.log for various other fixes and changes.

Re: Sat2Chart

Thanks for the new version, great to see this impressive software getting developed further. These tutorials are awesome!

One feature which I would find useful is to get as early as possible some indication on how long this job will need and what file size to expect.

I found myself initially over ambiguous in selecting larger areas than really necessary and then ending up with computation jobs lasting several hours.
