Hunteritis is a curable sickness. It has a well established 12 step program. Step 1: Turn off the internet. Step 2 : unplug the shore power. Step 3: Slash (dont untie) the dock lines.(you dont want to come back). I'm an idiot because I believe that the boat designers and builders know more about boats than I do so tend to take their word over internet posters. Somehow in spite of this I have not killed anyone or myself and have fewer boat problems than "normal" based on all the threads I've read.

I'm a lair because regardless of any true life experience I post about my boat someone always trashes both me and my boat telling me how wrong I am. Since I just say the facts of my experiences and it doesn't match the facts they want to believe, I must be a lair!
