Re: I'm an idiot and lair
I honestly think you're one of our most successful lairs, always making the most endearing mistakes.

Re: I'm an idiot and lair
Don,
I've said it before and I'll say it again. You need to get over the fact that some people bash your boat dude. People bash mine too but I brush it off. Different strokes for different folks. If everyone thought the same exact things were best this would be a boring world. Man up and get over it.

Since I am one of the few power boat people here, I don't know from Hunter. I just enjoy your posts, and am with Ocean Girl on the spelling-creative spelling shows a creative mind-a necessary attribute for any cruiser.

I'm an idiot and a lair!
I'm an idiot because I believe that the boat designers and builders know more about boats than I do so tend to take their word over internet posters. Somehow in spite of this I have not killed anyone or myself and have fewer boat problems than "normal" based on all the threads I've read.
I'm a lair because regardless of any true life experience I post about my boat someone always trashes both me and my boat telling me how wrong I am. Since I just say the facts of my experiences and it doesn't match the facts they want to believe, I must be a lair!
If only I had realized the truth long ago

It's a big club.
I was not aware that you were an idiot and a liar, however, and have always enjoyed your posts and found them useful, informative, and sometimes, entertaining.
But I am also an idiot and a liar (although, apparently, I have *finally* been let off the hook about storms in my area, unless that guy is also an idiot and liar that is ) ... but I'm sure i've been credited with other lies.
If someone else hasn't had your experiences, you're an idiot and a liar.

Oh let it go. As President Andrew Jackson (I think) said, "it's a damned poor mind that can think of only one way to spell a word!"
Those people are also idiots and liars, I'm sure.

Now that is just as good as to spell it with a small one. It is better. It gives the imagination a broader field, a wider scope. It suggests to the mind a grand, vague, impressive new kind of a cow.

And Don, ya know this place just wouldn't be the same without you. Who would dispel ( no pun intended) all the trash about Hunters? Although, the early 80s hunters were a sight to behold.
