Of course it would have been a better story! Anything would have been a better story! Holey cow! Your explanation was as boring as bats poop! In fact I am going to find out what a racoon is and then I'm gunna chuck a few on your boat!

Rebel Heart you shouldn't have told us ,or at least made up a story worthy of the anticipation, even if it wasn't accurate. This is why between fact and fiction, fiction is always more interesting. And why the movie industry makes the big bucks. LOL

reminds me of the time we woke to a mysterious smell coming from the head. All the lights were off, and uncle Hank wasn't in his berth... :O

Yeah I was thinking I could lie about it and make a better story, especially on the heels of all the great ones you guys were able to spin up.

But I've got some real-amazing stories, and I want to keep fact and fiction divided or else I'll forget which one is which!

Mudnut: Charlotte is doing great. We're hauling out for two weeks in the back half of March, so I'm really looking forward to that, and will take a ton of pictures. All in all things have been really good. We're basically gearing up for a lot of sailing this summer, and getting ready for the wedding in the fall.

Oh sure...thats what the aliens who abducted rebel heart told him to tell us. You were gone for a while were you not? Its pretty obvious the thud was the gangway of the flying saucer hitting your deck.

Yeah in reality, the thud was the boot of Elvis Presley stepping on the roof. I had tea with him, and we got into a mono vs. multi argument. Turns out he's a mono guy as well!

What sort of anchor does Elvis use and is his mono a ferro?

I think I'd be more than happy to buy a beer for anyone on this board the next time they're in San Diego (or spot me in another harbor). As for Elvis, he just picked up a Valiant and is equally confused about his anchor options. He said he reads this forum constantly to find out of the Rocna is really just marketing buzz.

Ditto. I kept away from the thead as I was getting P*ssed off with no answer. Then when I saw it on the home page I had to look. What a let down.

Are you one of those guys when having a few drinks who tells long boring stories and who makes people go to sleep before they are drunk?

Would they have to listen to any more stories?

I think I better pull my head in now. Don't want to get a weeks holiday.

Sorry about that Rebel Heart.
