Jammer Six, may I recommend a book to you?
Its called "Reading for Comprehension" - you can find it on Amazon. Its at the third grade level so should be a good place for you to start...
Barring that, please consider getting professional help.

Re: What is Your Favorite Quote?

I understood everything you wrote.

You lack the ability to discriminate among individuals, and are, therefore, afraid of both those who protect you and those they protect you from, as classes, unless you have a gun, and anyone who questions you is either illiterate or needs professional help.

Jammer, a seriously intelligent man once gave me a great piece of advice. He said "never argue with an imbecile". Ive had many opportunities to heed his advice. This is one of them. Bye.

It's difficult for me to imagine you taking advice, but I've accepted everything else you've written as the stone cold truth, so I imagine that it's possible.

If you dare, meet some cops. Sail with them. It will change many of your viewpoints, and who knows, it may even change some of your fears.

It's hard to fear friends, and it's even harder to view them as broad classes rather than individuals.

Wireless, consider actually watching the movie in question before you get wrapped around the axle about a few lines from a fictional character in a movie about something that never happened.

Contempt prior to investigation is the mark of a fool.

Interesting rabbit hole my "favoite quote" instigated. I got another one...
"The Only Thing Necessary for the Triumph of Evil is that Good Men Do Nothing... but pontificate"

I saw the words "Triumph of Evil" and immediately thought of the TR7.

I think Churchill had the same thing in mind, when he said :

"You can always count on Americans to do the right thing - after they've tried everything else."

Re: What is Your Favorite Quote?

I find it interesting (and a bit amusing) that both WIRELESS1 and JAMMER SIX immediately assumed that my post was agenda driven. I just thought is was a memorable scene in a movie delivered by an exceptional actor. Seems they might have some personal insecurity issues going on there.

The fact is that I never said a word about you or your agenda, and that you never entered my posts.

"Run you fools"..J.R.R Tolkien/ Lord of the Rings, wherein Gandalf inspires the company to flee at the bridge of Kazad-D`um before the Balrog..Balrogs being summoned by the most evil Vala Mekor(Later Morgoth)scourge of fire.. The Orks went forth to rape and war and the Balrog captains marched before..Now that is fiction to get excited about..

Re: What is Your Favorite Quote?

All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act on their dreams with open eyes, to make them possible.

I haven't been reading this thread. But I have a quote:

"Of course I will put you on my ignore list."
