I am looking for a thread for suggestions to improve the CF website. This isn't it, but it is the closest I've found. Here's my suggestion.

The index pages for threads only show links for the first 8 pages plus Last Page (e.g. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, Last Page). For threads which have more than those eight pages those first eight pages, for most people, become unnecessary because they've already read them and likely won't read them again. What would be more helpful is if the links for the last half-dozen pages were shown (e.g. First Page ... 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, Last Page). It is links to those last few pages that active readers of a thread want to find and read, not the first few pages.

The object here is to pick a subject from the “Discussion Board” and go from there.
I’ve monitored several boating Forums and this is as good as it gets, along with the other “Social Knowledge” forums.

Hi, could the forum perhaps make it a requirement that the basic bio be completed on joining, particularly the location. This would help those of us that may respond to posts which are perhaps somewhat location specific. The world is a big place.
