Thank you! Have to be expiring the site! Sailing around Thailand sounds fabulous. My stomping grounds are the BVIs at this time and extending my reaches is my goal. If I manage to make my way to that area, I will be in touch.

Or just some yachtie friends who can help some beginners with the ropes?? Cheers
I think In got knocked of line, so this may be redundant? A couple said hydraulic steering pump and one said rudder post packing glad? Who cares, I have to salute a 78 yr. old man that can be that prepared and not pick him apart. The arm chair sailors would be dead. JMHO
Thanks Happy MdRSailor. I understand I crossed the line. Sorry. I was just trying to provide a different thought as to why the BO abandoned his vessel rather than just say he was and idiot or such for doing so. While it was discussing religion it was very much in context and related to the BO's thought processes in a perceived dangerous situation.
Thanks for pointing out the rules of the forum and I will be a good poster going forward. I just wish that others were a little more circumspect in making rash attacks on a BO.
