Refrigerant line caps ? Like you might find on a compressor or or evaporator in an icebox conversion kit.

the brass makes me think heater over refrigerant. refrigerant just seems to modern



I want to think the male end has that fat screwdriver cut in it because its meant to a part that is adjustable easily with a coin perhaps

When the connection is undone, before installation, each side is covered.
They are shiny brass, too good for a pack-rat to toss.
The owner of my old boat is probably wondering what the set I left him are

for precharged refrigerant tubing so the gas does not escape

the cap fits the male part of the union,the oring fits the female union.

I think what atoll is hinting at is that someone thought " these are too good to throw away; they might come in handy some time."

But 3/4 thread seems AWFULLY BIG.... But possibly on an older system with a larger low pressure line??? Much to big for a diesel heater feed pipe too... LP?
