How do you save water aboard

We are finding more ways to save water while living aboard. Something that surprised us was bruising teeth consumed a lot of water. We noticed this about 9 months ago as we made our own toothpaste that did not need water. It saved us about 270 gallons (3 of us in our family) last year. here is our recipe
