A quick howdy from another "almost" senior FL sailing evangelist.
Looks like you are just north of Gainesville?
    I am in Clearwater.
What part of FL do you keep your boat ?
    Good luck on your transatlantic!
I LOVE your 422 - i think it was a 424 (or was it a 422?) i charterd years ago in Tierra Verde and just loved everything about it. would like to buy one (slips are the real problem!) - let me know when you need local help for a day or two or wish to sell yours Cheers - Keith

    Hey Skip,
I saw your crew wanted post and I thought it looked great! I've been traveling around for the last length of time and for my next 'adventure' I'm looking to learn to sail and to hopefully get across the atlantic to europe to continue my travels. I have no experience but I'm eager and motivated to learn and I believe we could give eachother a lot of value. Looking forward to hearing back from you!

    Hello Skip,
You could add me to your list of potential crew. I’m a retired adventurer type (see my profile). I noticed your initial post but have plans at the time of your launch but thought I’d drop a line to indicate availability for a Bermuda or Azores leg should an extra hand be useful.
Anyway, sounds fun! Best of luck and times!

    Skip,
Any chance you can refer me to a competent surveyor in the Jax/St Augustine area? I'm a first time buyer looking at 70s era Contest owned by a broker, I'm 3 hours away and feel I'm at a disadvantage up against someone 20+ years in the industry. Thank you

Is this Skip and was the old sport fisherman an egg harbor (I think) that sunk at the dock? And was Bernie's last name Davids?

    Skip,
I to started out in Lauderdale 40 years ago and had a couple companies doing marine electronics there before moving to the Virginia Islands. My name is Steve Brigham do we know one another?

Hi. I am having the same issue with a seawolf all chain windlass that you had. I took the gypsy off and it had 160 and H stamped on it. The boat has 200' of the completely wrong chain on it now. Did you ever find where to buy chain for this unit?

    Thanks
