Calling all Tayana 37 Owners!

Supposedly Tayana 37 has historically had a strong owner's association, but it looks like TOGNews, Google Groups, and the Facebook page are all inactive since 2013. I am segmenting off part of my website to make a new home for the Tayana 37 owners's association. Please respond to this post if you are a Tayana 37 owner so I can see that there are some signs of life to make this project worthwhile.

I would suggest updating your profile with your general location and your boat make & model or “Looking” in the "Boat" category. This info shows up under your UserName in every post in the web view. Many questions are boat and/or location dependent and having these tidbits under your UserName saves answering those questions repeatedly. TOG news is still fairly active it has been moved over to Google group. The link is at the top of the TOG home page. Tog Group is I’m not limited to Tayana’s and is more of an unofficial Bob Perry / Tayang / Tashing owners group. Usually a post a day but slower in the NA summer months, winter it picks up). The Tayana owners FB page is relatively active but the Robert Perry fan club is very active.

Not sure how or why you think they’ve been inactive since 2013. Last FB post was 4 days ago and TOG was yesterday. I don’t think we need another T37 owners group/page etc. You may be looking at similar defunct pages people have created with the same idea in mind.

My experience with the TOG link is that you need permission from the group moderator, which was never granted to me. Can you provide a link to the active facebook page?

You could also start a Tayana owners social group here and link it to this thread. Go to the "Community" drop down menu and hit "Social Groups" to start one.

Yes you will need permission to gain access to most owner sites even the below Facebook pages.

Honestly the TOG group and the Facebook groups are more active with less of the BS than you’ll find here.
