Given that the climate alarmists claim that we are adding 400,000 Hiroshima bombs worth of heat to the planet every day, I guess that the nuclear arsenals are trivial in comparison.

Re: Surviving World War Three at Sea

You know, after all of the news this year. I am pretty sure someone in the military would said 'We don't have to give him the correct launch codes, do we ?'

Edit: wow I joined in 2013 and this is my first post ?

Re: Surviving World War Three at Sea

The folks who set the "Doomsday Clock" aren't alarmists or dummies. They are very conservative about their assessments. Throughout the entire Cold War - even during the Cuban Missile Crisis, they never set the clock as close to Doomsday as it is now. It hasn't been this close -- in 65 years.

Whatever it’s worth, I don’t think any President has ever had the authority to release Nuclear Weapons by themselves.
To do so would I think be insane, and hopefully, we aren’t that?

"If President Trump wants to use one of the thousands of nuclear weapons in the U.S. military’s arsenal, the chance of anyone stopping him appears to be very low."
