SeaWatch (formally known as HMAS Air Watch) is a 63ft x 15 ft, World War 2 Crash
Boat, she has timber double diagonal planked
hull with full dynal sheath . She has 2x MWM V12 diesels (tb232) 320 hp each. One
motor is fine the other needs some
exhaust manifold
work done (around $3000AU to be done), engines have done 15xx hours each. She has had a new
keel in 2009 and has had a full dynal sheath over
hull, decks
cabin and bridge house. A new bridge house costing $90,000 was done in 2008 which is excellent condition and is a huge improvement to the vessel. Sea watch is still in need of a
paint and finishing off of fit out inside and
engine work and tidy up, unfortunately with a rapidly growing business and 3rd child on the way my poor old girl is not getting much of my love anymore, so I am putting her up
for sale hoping somebody can give her the love and time she deserves. Any true
boat lover will fall in love with her lines and charm straight away. She is a fast planning vessel capable of 23 knots. I have a lot of documented original
history on her including logbooks from her
service in the
navy as well as a full report of her full
service from the Australian war memorial. I also have a lot of receipts for major works completed and
survey reports from over the years available that will all come with the
sale.
I am open to offers at this stage so please contact me via PM if your interested or would like more information on the details below.
