Mexico does require insurance. It is available locally.

Agreed. I would go a lot more often, even for the weekend (even for a day!), but I don't want to drop $300 each time. You are allowed a single re-entry within 90 days, but still. Shame, because I love going there. Pete

Ive had marinas on Antigua and elsewhere ask to see insurance. Its only ever the marinas, not immigration. ( same as the Med)
