Paul, I would like to talk you about your Hurricane Zephyr heater. I am looking at putting one in a new sailboat. Comparing to the Webasto DBW2010. It is for a 46' pilothouse sailboat. The boat is for use in Pacific Northwest....Anacortes to Alaska.
They didn't have internet when I did my long trips. I went to the Catalina factory, inspected the building process of the Catalina 30s (much heavier GRP in those days), was satisfied & bought a 1 year old, beefed up the rigging and went sailing. Frank Butler advised that they were concerned that some people would go sailing, have problems and sue, hence they didn't recommend ocean sailing. However I was given some spare rigging, just in case (and it was helpful after a roll-over off the Grand Banks of Newfoundland). A great boat.
Hi paul, hope all is well. I sent you an email this morning to the svjerogia(@) gmail address, not sure if thats the best way to reach you or through here.
Sorry to bother you but you're my j/37 expert, as there are not a lot of them out there.
Let me know if better to reach you through here or email.
