She's a great sail.. as long as the water stays off the decks.. else everything below gets soaked..
Sadly been unloved and neglected for many years.. reckon the PO is the type who when the ash tray is full, instead of emptying and cleaning it.. throws it away and gets another one..
Needs gutting and everything replacing.. serious $$$'s

I have no doubts about how she sails... Other than I wish I personally coulda evaluated!!! Elated however somebody has the $$$ to move her about, and ..... hopefully.... bring her back up to the state she deserves...

Re: A delivery.. again.. lmao

Hi boaty, Just got home from my delivery to Morocco. We left San Juan on the 27th Oct. and arrived in Agadir at midnight on the 8th. Had a serious head wind all the way from PR until the Canaries. The trades were strong 25 to 35 knots steady, had a couple of days of 50 kts winds. If I would have been going the other way under sail it would have been a very nice run down wind. We spotted 1 Sperm whale and a couple of nice yachts on their way to the Canaries. There was a beautiful 3 mast schooner coming into Agadir the same morning we did, name of "Sea Cloud II" really wanted to go see her at the quay, but alas when you are on the clock, you don't have time to visit the neighbors. I'm sorry to hear of your troubles. Maybe the next one will go better.

Cheers mate.. your a scholar..
yeah, we had to sail something like 15nm to get around it. Happily I was below catching some zzzzz's so dockhead did the honors (and bitched about it for several hours afterwards)

Our books have gotten 5 star reviews on Amazon. Several readers have written "I never thought I would go on a circumnavigation, but when I read these books, I was right there in the cockpit with Vinni and Carsten"

Ahhh... just been having a whinge mate... that's what happens when you've had a succession of Lagoons.. get all soft and fluffy.. then when a real boat comes along its "Oh.. My God...!! my nails will be ruined.."
Glad your trip went well.. even if a bit bouncy by the sound of it..
Man its good to have a PC again.. that smart phone does my head in with its auto correct...
