Loops... I just wanted to clarify....the Blue boat might not be much fun in the Bahamas......I imagine it would've been a blast with Lena.

Almost there...
Left Brunsbuttel.. again.. on Tuesday morning at HW and made great time till 8 miles E of Helgoland when the wind died.. then the engine decided to die an hour later..
Pulled the filters and found they were good and clean but a large clump of cotton waste was sitting on top of the separator filter.. could not get fuel though so reckoned the tanks feed line was clogged.. by this time we had been drifting back and forth a few hours.. around noon Wens a German CG boat turned up and asked WTF we were up to pissing about in the middle of the TSS.. and I got a long lecture about the Rules of the Road etc.. by this time I'd rigged a flow and return with some tube and a 15 litre fuel can.. so started the engine and sea water jetted out from the impellor housing.. big crack.. the CG mechanic had a look.. shook his head and said.. 'Kaput.. buy a Yanmar.. good engines..'
Anyway.. hooked a line to their rib and they towed us S out of the lanes and waved goodbye..
So.. we drifted a bit the just before midnight got a SW wind and tacked along the coast under foresail to Borkum where I Pan Pan'd the SAR boat to come out and tow us the last 1/2 mile from by the light house into the port.
Now.. all I have to do is organise a tow for the last 6 miles to Eemshaven and the Seven Stars ship taking her to Florida..
Then its a coupla days in the 'Dam' and a flight home to Portugal..
Oh.. and my flags been a hoot.. folk from Denmark to Borkum have been scouring the internet to find it...

Mega thanks to Dockhead for the 'Heads Up' on the wind farm off Borkum.. its not on my Nimble program either..
Weather was foggy with vis down to 300 metres in places.. were it not for his personal experiences along these waters recently.. posted on here.. I may have blithely sailed into one or two bludi great blades.. as it was I was keeping a serious watch and spotted the shadows looming through the mist just as I reached the Keep Out zone..
Cheers mate.. your a scholar..

Nothin' like a good sea trial to vet out problems before a passage... Or in this case... "Nope... No Thank You"...

I think we all tried very hard to ignore the obvious... We were dressing up the princess in pauper's clothes to go work the pig farm... It simply wasn't the best idea...
