fyi minor typo in the release notes:

Implement specific interface to/from QtVlm sailing route optimizer.
Whether routing, using current grib files and your boats polars, is
now possible. Optimize the route in QtVLM, then import it to OpenCPN.

Congrats on a great improvements to a good program. Been to boat today, uploads, downloads & routes works well with win 7 , prolfic usb to serial & garmin 128, and the new interface. (but you probably knew that any way)

As the Mac release broke across the throng, the crowd went wild, cheering and screaming, and then rapidly broke up as each Mac Master left to start using the new release.

Like the new release however the install did away with my tide stations. I am in the Phillippines and had got the stations from wtides to work in 3.0. I copied the tcdata contents in case of a problem which did occur. Even recopying the data back has not solved my problem.

I crossed the Strait of Georgia yesterday and had a crash about midway across. XP, SP3, OpenCPN 3.2 with dashboard open and a route active passing nav data to the autopilot. Prior to the crash I noticed that the position display in the dashboard started flashing rapidly. Just the position data was flashing and it appeared to continue to be accurate and updated. I don't remember exactly how long it flashed but the crash happened when I either zoomed or panned, again I can't remember exactly which I was trying to do.

I had the same problem a while ago. Make sure that O is looking in the right directory for the harmonics file. You can see on the Help screen in O what directory it is looking. If you have a parallel installation you will have multiple O directories and may simply have the harmonics file in the wrong directory.

May be confusing :

User book (page Hotkeys & Shortcuts)
Ctrl + B hide/show the Chart Bar.
Ctrl + G cycles through (monochromatic) green, red and normal screen.∗
Ctrl + M Drops Marker at current cursor position.
Ctrl + Q Quits OpenCPN
Ctrl + R Starts the Routing tool. Esc ends creating route.
Ctrl + Y Redo Mark/waypoint create, move or delete.
Ctrl + Z Undo Mark/waypoint create, move or delete.
User Book (page Zooming)
Alternatively, the + and - keys on your keyboard will zoom in and out. If you have a mouse with a scroll wheel, it can also be used to quickly zoom in and out.

For zooming in smaller steps try

• Ctrl + Z or Ctrl + for fine scale zooming in.
• Ctrl + X or Ctrl - for fine scale zooming out.
• Ctrl + scroll wheel, zooming in/out in small steps.

nota : CTRL +X is unknown in the Hotkeys and Shortcuts page.

With Mac ios lion 10.7.5 and opencpn 3.2, it is not possible to choose NMEA, the windows is too short.

It looks fine on the English version (too lazy to take a screenshot). Maybe the width is language dependent?
