I don't suppose you have a Corbin 39 by any chance do you ?
If so, could I trouble you for the Hull Identification Number ?
I am the owner of a Corbin 39, “BOCKRA” in the UK, and I am trying to complete a full listing of the Corbins that have been built, hence my asking. The HIN is stamped on the stern fibreglass in digits about 10mm tall, and is normally just under the stern caprail. On BOCKRA the HIN is ZCJ001231181 which means that she is moulding #123, and was moulded in 11/81.
Joe, Which is your C39 please, ideally hull number or HIN, vessel name, year of mould, your email. I am trying to nail the C39 list. regards, pp (BOCKRA, in Greece)
Ack your response, will keep track and see where you are in Nov, I should be free and will just have to scrounge up the money for a one way ticket to the nearest port in India for Nov, should get to Red Sea by Dec easily and then I can spend xmas there with my missus.
What is the time frame? I have just committed to the Vic Maui race and will be tied up with that this summer. Would be available for this come Sep only and it would work out great as my partner is posted to Israel in July for a one year tour in Jerusalem so I could fly to India and sail onto the Red Sea. I did a year in the Sinai in 2013, some good diving in the Red Sea although I understand the situation on land is deteriorating and pretty messed up. Really enjoyed my time with the MFO in the Sinai.
Dear Jubilee39
I live about 60 miles NW of downtown Chicago just off Interstate 90. Depending on weather and traffic it takes about an hour and 20 minutes or so to get here. I do have a lot of stuff which has never been used. If you want to come out and have a look I'd be happy to buy you lunch and show you all the stuff. Maybe we could work a deal, cash of course. Meanwhile, I have to keep the stuff on the market. Cruisers Forum is the only place right now. Let me know when your coming and if you're interested. Anything besides the winches?
