open screen thrashed

i have just loaded version 5.2 onto my new acer windows 10 laptop and get this opening screen,

Are your graphics chip drivers up to date?

Please try to disable OpenGL
Start OCPN.
Go to Settings->display->Advanced....


As mentioned above, you may like to search for updated drivers for your Graphics system. Newer drivers may be fully OpenGL compatible.

Solution: Click Options, Display, Advanced tab and uncheck Use Accelerated Graphics(OpenGL)
