Chart bar not displaying on Mac

Running Big Sur 11.2.3.
Did a fresh install of OpenCpn 5.6.2 after uninstalling the old version and deleting everything I could find, including chart directories.
I set up Chart Groups for US CA raster

And I successfully downloaded 8 charts for the SF Bay


But the chart bar does not appear in the display.


It is selected in the View tab. What am I missing?

(Note: I tried to attach screen shots using the image, referencing uploaded png files to SmugMug, but they are not displaying).

After reading some other posts, I fixed it. Not sure entirely how. Did a rebuild and then downloaded the charts again.

We have seen trouble on some modern MacOS systems with placing charts in "/Users/Documents/Charts". Some have had better luck with "/Users/Charts".
We do not really understand this trouble, but you may like to give it a try. Please let us know the results.

Thanks for the suggestion. I did manage to get it working by rebuilding the database and reloading the charts.
