Missing Test from Vector Charts

Hi all,

im a bit of a noob with OpenCPN, an suspect ive done something dumb...

I'm having an issue getting text to display on my vector charts (o-charts and ENC). it worked fine before, but how only shows radio channels in a few locations:



As far as I can tell, text should be displaying:





Having said that, the User Standard Objects area is greyed out:

In the ·Display menu", the "Hamburger" down right, which Display Category is selected?


Play with that one.


The user defined view at Options|Charts|Vector Charts is only enabled with "User Standard" active. It makes only sense in that context.

Thanks for the tip...

cycling through the Display categories will add/remove chart details. However, I am convinced that OpenCPN is displaying the "CH [08]" text as the only chart text available for some reason. It disappears in Display Category="Base"

Your chart is where on the world? Which type of chart? [Chart number]

How about a screenshot of the chart display, with or without text.

Please try disabling "Important Text Only". That option use to take out a lot texts on some charts.

This was the corrective option!

I thought I had tried this, but it worked this time around.

Very good!
One more thing. You have the "Additional detailed reduction at small scale" option checked. I don't know if you have it set by accident or intentionally. It's meant for very detailed charts normally not present. You may want to uncheck it and look for a difference.
